Best Strategy?

Driving traffic to a website is like making a way for people to pass by your shop... It's not too difficult really. But getting people to see the gems and get them from you... The most effective way is through what is known as RECOMMENDATION. Your initial sales are important. They will pave the way to future business transactions. People buy not only because the products are good, but also because they trust your recommendations. They will then recommend YOU to other people.

Please do not fall for every recommendation though. There are many collaborative efforts on the internet put together just to exploit the newbies, especially those who want to make a quick income. Do not believe in every testimonial you see. It's extremely easy to fake especially income testimonials and even movies are not all trustworthy. How many movies have you watched in your life? Don't you see how easy it is to come up with props? Duh! You might say... Yes... duh! I'm sure Vern my business partner would agree because he's such a movie buff =) LOL!

This post is in no way suggesting that you cheat. In fact, many people have already lost faith in the many testimonials that they see on the internet, even those that are offline, and people have learned to be skeptical. This is actually a good thing =)

Ok, I'll give you an example before moving on. Let's say you receive a letter in your mailbox about how some seer has helped the grateful sender to strike the lottery, would you believe it? Well, it's not as simple as that, the letter has a photocopy of the actual lottery ticket that won over a million dollars... Would you believe it and call the recommended seer to help you likewise? You may? Let's be honest...

Would you first authenticate the photocopied lottery ticket? What happens if it's the real ticket? Now, please realise that people can use the real thing to fake something else. There could jolly well be a syndicate involved in this. Could this be an insider's job? Yes, we can't rule that out... So, scams can happen offline too! Surprise! Ha Ha Ha!

Many people are afraid to market to the people that they are familiar with. The truth is this: If you have a business you can be proud of, your warm market is the best market to grow your business. By word of mouth, that's the most powerful strategy. If people recommend YOU to others, skepticism is no longer a problem for you!

So, your best strategy is to find someone you trust and get into the right business. You can piggyback on their trustworthiness and build your business without breaking a sweat. The worst strategy is to try getting yourself plugged into a wrong system with a whole list of useless programs that are meant to help you get started with another list of programs... you'll know what I mean when you see one of these systems that are sprouting out all over the internet in the form of membership sites...

Many people are discouraged and led to think that they are lousy marketers. To make a decent income online, we just need to do some marketing. It's not that difficult, so don't let others tell you otherwise.

Do you know that you can market or advertise both online and offline? I've realised that I can make a lot more and at a faster pace advertising offline. What people need to realise is that it's just another business. Marketing sources can be found both online and offline.

What others can do, we can do too. It's only a matter of whether we want to focus our energy on doing it or not. Let's not limit what we can do... Let's not limit our battle ground to only the Internet... Choose your life, make your decision and live it =)
